My check engine came on for an evap leak. Needed a new gas cap after smoke test showed leak at the cap. 10 days later, the check engine and evap code purge valve leak reappeared. A bad purge valve vent was replaced. A week or so later, the check engine light with code for Fuel Tank sensor problem. The tech had to drop the tank and replace the sensors and valve. All fixed. The evap system is often difficult to diagnose, even if a check engine light gives some guidance. If the system isn't acting up when the tech is diagnosing the problem, it's very difficult to pin point the problem. Fortunately, the problem sensors/valves did act up at the time and was fixed. Springdale did an excellent job and Service Advisor Brian Smith kept me fully informed of the findings and work status along the way. Well done. I still don't like the Credit Card processing fee. It cost me $28.00 just to pay by credit card. Shop supplies fees are also added. Over the years, I've probably paid enough in shop supplies alone to buy a tech some cool tools! Five ***** Stars for Springdale!
Hey terry thank you for the five star review. We really appreciate the feedback. We don’t like the credit card processing fees as well. Unfortunately it’s the cost of doing business. I’m so glad we were able to diagnose your vehicle and pin point the issue, we are blessed to have an amazing team of technicians that are very skilled in their craft. Thank you for your continued business and always a pleasure working with you.
