Very disappointed! I’m from out of town and my car started making a clicking/clunking noise. I looked underneath and saw that a bolt was missing from the cv axle where it meets the transmission output shaft. I had the car towed to Springdale since it’s close to where I’m staying. Told them of my findings they said okay we’ll check it out. I also told them to check the rest of the car specifically the security of the other output shaft. Was told I needed a new CV axle and a bolt was sheared off and stuck in the output shaft. Got my quote from them and my jaw hit the floor $1,800!!!!!! For a fairly easy job with a $100 NAPA part!!! Had my car towed from them (after paying a $150 diagnostic fee) to a coworkers house. Found all of the bolts loose and two missing, nothing sheared or stuck like they said. Also found the CV axle in good shape, it just lost a little grease from the loose bolts. I replaced those $10 bolts and tightened the other 4 and saved myself $1,790. I figured I better check the other side even though Springdale supposedly checked them out and didn’t mention them being loose. Low and behold they were also loose! They also told me I needed an air cleaner which I had just replaced 300 miles ago. I never write reviews and usually give businesses the benefit of the doubt when something seems off. But I 100% believe they were trying to take advantage of me because I’m from out of state and they thought I was stuck and desperate. I’m upset about the $150 diagnostic but am sick to my stomach thinking about the people they have ripped off that truly are stuck or don’t know very much about cars. STAY AWAY!
