Stein does seem to be very expensive, but so far I have had service that was state of the art. For example, they provide a printout of all the maintenance and issues your car needs to have addressed. They keep records of all of the work done on the car, this can help when it comes time to sell your vehicle. They have a driver that will drop you off or pick up you from your work while your car is being serviced. Very clean waiting area. They seem to have very highly paid mechanics, which means they can attract good help. I've been going to them for 4 years with my 2004 325 CI BMW and have had 8 oil changes, 3 standard maintenance, some bushings changed, valve gasket header replaced.

I've used this company for 10years to work on my vehicles. They always give accurate advice, quality work and great customer service. I pulled in with a flat tire recently and within 15 minutes they worked me in and had me on the road again. I know flat tires is not their bread and butter, but they know how to take care of their customers. Good honest mechanics are hard to find and these guys are it.

Excellent service. They brought my diesel Jetta back to life. It runs better than it has for years. They were very clear as to what needed to be done and how much it would cost... no surprises and no unnecessary work done.

Not only were they able to get my car in and fixed in a couple of hours (on a Friday afternoon no less!), but they drove me home (25 minutes away) because I was unable to wait at the shop. Great family owned business!

I get nervous around most auto repair shops, but not ANYMORE. I have had nothing but wonderful customer service and excellent repairs- 0 problems. Everyone is very professional and they have the most highly skilled mechanics. These guys know what's up and I would recommend them to anyone. It's a plus too that they are locally owned and operated.

Thanks for the oil change on my 2010 TDI!!!

My wife went in today (Jan 31, 2014). She reports that she requested an estimate on several problems. Stein decided she needed an oil change and charged her for it, even though my wife regularly changed the oil. $12 for a PARTIAL oil change. You cannot just top off someone's oil without her permission and charge her for it. Stein's will take advantage of foreigners, beware. Best take your business elsewhere.

I've only dealt with Stein Automotive once and it will be my last. Took girlfriend s car in several weeks ago. Informed them of the problem (headlights would randomly turn on and drain battery). Obviously, something was wrong with the electrical system for the headlights. They took a look and we picked the car up the next day. They said nothing was wrong with it and charged us $200 for towing, labor, etc. Nothing was done to try and address the electrical problem. I d also like to thank whatever automotive tech decided to smoke in her car and use the ash tray. Very professional. Suprise, same problem happened again this weekend. Shocking, right? The same issue we told them about. We had it towed and taken back to Stein again. Well, something WAS wrong with it, a bad switch. Total cost was $400 for towing, parts, labor, etc. We didn't even get so much as an apology from Stein let alone any type of discount or some type of small compensation for the trouble. Save yourself the trouble, time, and money by going to a different automotive repair center who will do the job right the first time around.
