As you may know, your brakes generate a lot of heat when carrying out the process to stop or slow your vehicle. Because of this excessive heat, the surface of brake rotors can become distorted with use. The rotors get glazed and deformed from the material of the brake pads. Other times, normal wear and tear can also cause the rotors to bend. This problem is commonly known as warping.  Can you drive with warped brake rotors?  While you can still operate your vehicle, it is not safe to drive with warped rotors.
